Our training is developed to help individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities to help change behaviors that come from their feelings, thoughts, and emotions. These training are taught through (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered Approaches. CBT focuses on modifying a person's patterns to change how they view and act in situations, while Person-Centered Approach therapy operates on the humanistic belief that they make their own choices which empower an individual in focusing on their needs and control in their life.
Even though these two therapies have different approaches they work well together and can improve the welfare of one's life.
